I don't know. It's pretty crazy really. Like I said, I used to have a few and I liked them a lot. They just aren't on my favorite breeds list. I think it's because I like them to be one way or the other

My brahmas didn't like me though, so maybe that's why I've never gotten any more...

I would never discourage anyone from trying the breed, they have lots of good traits going for them. They just don't make it to the top of my list for birds to own.

My main reason for the cochins is for the broodies. I'd like the EE cause I haven't ever had an colored egg layer and I just really like the way the SS looks.

Speckled Sussex, I love mine. They are very sweet.
