I can't figure out this Peruvian

We bought a Peruvian hen from a friend a few weeks ago. We were told she is about a year old and has been laying well. At first she kept her distance from us and the other chickens. We've had her 2 weeks now and she's becoming more a part of the flock and social, but still wont let humans get close. However, she still hasn't laid an egg. Is it normal for her to go this long just due to stress? She won't stay in the coop at night with the others, just disappears around 7 each night. So it's possible she is laying somewhere else, but we havent been able find any and she stays out with others during the day (not acting broody).
I'd love any info and input you guys have!

Gamefowl are generally not prolific layers. They tend to lay a clutch of eggs and then go broody.

Yea, I found that out after he told me she was good for eggs. I really couldn't (and still cant) find any info about this breed specifically at all... but anyway.
How often should I expect her to do that?
