I can't find the remote.

Ha HA! We are triumphant! I found the darn thing. It was under and behind the sofa, past the glass shards from the glass the little weasel broke earlier. Clearly he was trying to distract me from the real prize- the remote. He's a fiend, he is.
Of course, now that I have found it, it is bedtime. Sigh.

Thanks for the help all. I found all sorts of useful things while I was searching for the remote.

I had my daughter and two friends over years ago. They were small and were all playing on the floor and the remote was by them. Of course they remote was for a dual deck vcr which lost some functionality without the remote. I swore one of the kids must have taken it home and when finding a strange remote in thier home the parents eventually tossed it. I would have signed a legal document saying it wasnt in my home. I TORE the place apart, it is a small apt. We looked for weeks. Finally I just wrote it off. I wasnt going to get that functionality back. Then (years later)we got some new furniture so out with the chair and a half that we loved. To get it out the door we had to tilt it on its side... what did we hear, thunk thunk....somehow it got into the inside of the chair, in the frame part totally enclosed, the bottom had webbing stuff over it so no matter how we moved that chair looking we just never would have been able to see it.

I generally lose everything that i own or misplace it, so when something i own disappears or i lose it i'm not surprised

. I went and got 2 Mallard Duck Babies at local Feed Store i'n gonna raise them up, but first i've got to build a pen for them. I hope I don't have to go to work this afternoon!!!!
