You have made my day! I love her, think she is going to be lovely and really hoped to have her around.

It's just such a personality change for her all in 1 week. I expected the chick picking on since there was a fairly large age range(though I didn't expect it from her!) and we got around that. Then to see her try to boss around our roo....she even raised up her hackle feathers and well.......I just put it all together and got nervous!

Now does this look like a roo??! Are those what pointy saddle feathers look like? Pointy hackle feathers? Or no?

What I know about sexing chickens could fit on the head of a pin, but I've wondered if this one was boy from about the 3rd week! You all keep saying pullet. Have you changed your mind yet? (not that I want that...but....)

I knew it...and I am so terribly sad. We had to let our other roo go and my 5 y/o cried. I may cry over this one too.

I'll way a day or two to see if anyone can give me a glimmer of hope...and then get it over with.

So sad........
