Thanks everyone! I have another mystery to solve I rested a rooster recently and it was from my roommates girlfriends daughters friend. Lol as you can see a is a little but difficult to find out from previous owner. View attachment 3375237

He looks like a dubbed old english game. I could be wrong though.

Definitely not an Old English Game. Appears to be an American Gamefowl. Determining strain (like Hatch or Kelso) of these is difficult because it's based on lineage and often times fighting style. This makes it hard for any average owner to know

@roosterhavoc, any ideas of strain? Maybe a Hatch?

Not really, I've only been a chicken tender for about 3 yrs (almost four) I've had two other Roosters but I lived in a rural area with lots of predators (I had owls, coyotes, eagles, hawks, and for awhile a black bear) sadly the Roosters died defending the flock and when I realized the rooster was inadvertently calling predators to them with his crowing I decided on not getting a third. But now I'm in a safer environment and my roommate asked if I could help. (They had about 30 hens and another two Roosters on their hands, sadly I only really had space for the one rooster) so far he is pretty quite. And hasn't attacked me once! Last roo was jealous I fed the girls and would go after me if I showed weakness, the coward. Still miss that ornery badword.

It's okay they look alot alike color wise. I'm glad he wasn't dubbed like you suggested, and now I know a new word! (Never heard of dubbed before)

Well I stand corrected lol. Poor guy, it was probably done because he was fighting with the other Roosters (one of the reasons he needed a home)
