I can't wait until i'm an established adult!

Well nobody said adulthood doesn't have it's pitfalls.

Three cheers *\\0/* *\\0/* *\\0/* for these girls not planning to live in their parents' basement for the rest of their lives playing video games.

Ah, to be young and idealistic before life sets up roadblocks and detours all over the path to your dreams. *sighs*

yep he's gotta be critter-friendly or he's gotta go! and if he happens to have a nice job with lots of money that won't hurt either! lol.

considering how i'm faring with my mom being a waitress and my dad being a UPS man, i think any decent job after college would be easier. i know all about the money and it always seemed like we had the normal amount...i was wrong.

oh i'm gone once i'm out of college!! i'm not sticking around, i'd be better on my own that is for sure

It all boils down to what matters most.

Decide when you are young "What Matters Most!" Write it down!... and then make decisions for the rest of your life based on what you've written down.

I wish I would have.

Don't get me wrong, there are things in my life now that I wouldn't change for the world... but there are also things that would be different and would free me up to do the things I wish I could do if I had made decisions differently along the way. We all need to do that... and then re-evaluate regularly.

Eventually our bodies for a time will be laid to rest, what matters most is the dash.

assuming the "farms" in the name is a gimmeck right?

LOL, not really. Being an adult isnt what its all cracked up to be. So dont get in a hurry to be an adult. It gets here WAYYYYY to soon. Im 29 (almost 30) and it seems like last year I was still in high school.

I personally think that the kids of my generation have it made. I mean helping in the garden and stuff like that but I have never been forced to get a job. I chose to, to help my parents out but thats a different side of it. I'm not sure that we look at the working world and all the payments and bills the right way. I'm scared to grow up lol. I've been preached to all my life about the the responsibilities that being an adult will bring but i dont think i sit back and take it into prospective. I think my generation is just ready to get out from mom and pops wings and let our own spread. When really being under the sheltering wing is the safest place to be? I know im going into the Marine Corps to where my job will be a safe one and most of the usual healthcare and other bills will be taken care of.

I feel sort of bad for your generation, Kyle. Gone are the days when you could go get an entry level job and afford to live anywhere but a teeny apartment on your own. School costs a fortune and the middle class is being wiped out.

Good luck!
