can i steal your life for a bit? middle school and high school have been HORRIBLE! no one can ever let me be happy, even for a day. i come to school and tell my friends about something that went right and how happy i am, and they make sure to ruin it. i come to school having a crappy day and they make sure to make it worse. i don't want to go to college for the parties, i want to go to learn what i want to learn the most and get closer to the job of my dreams.

Oh, I HATED middle and high school. College is soooo not like that. I never thought high school days were the best days of my life like I hear people say. It gets waaaay better!

I'm established all right! I've got all the grey hairs growing out of my big head!

I went to a really small school too. Graduated in 1994 with a class of 60. Sooo incredibly cliquey. Nightmarish. Oddly (or not so much) the "stars" of the school had major issues once they got out into the real world. Guess they were so used to being special in our little community that they couldn't handle the realization that they weren't any better than anyone else.

I hated high school. Nothing particularly BAD happened...it just wasn't my thing. I felt I was more mature than most of my peers and yet I was still treated like a child. College is a whole new world and has been so much better for me. There are new people to meet, you are treated like an adult, and there are so many more freedoms. Granted, sometimes I still feel like my peers are less mature than I am (I do not party or drink), but for the most part I absolutely LOVE college. However, I am still looking forward to life after college. It will be a bittersweet transition. I can't wait to have a dog of my own, a small apartment or house, the beginning of a career and eventually the start of a family. Its all very exciting and these years are going VERY fast. However, I will very much miss living at home and my pets there. I have a few years before I have to worry about that though. I will be a junior in college next year and then I'm hoping to do 4-6 years of med school.
