3 different people, 3 pokes, 3 tubes of blood and 2 blown veins. Why did I ever dread this appt.?? And for some unknown reason wants me back in 2 weeks. Oh joy.

Well here is my update. Sleeping on and off two or three hours at a time. When the pain meds wear off I Know it.

Friend from church brought good but I wasn’t up for a visit. Her DH came and they talked for over an hour , I stayed in the bedroom. Very nice to bring food but I am not up for a visit. Neck is very swollen and bruised. They say the third day is the worse.

Sorry to hear about everyone’s medical problems. They were really pushing the flu shot at the hospital. I think the worst time to get a vaccine is when you are already sick. But I guess people don’t come back for it when they are well.

That is all I can think of. Rest well everyone.

Ouch! Sorry you are feeling rough Julie I don't like people around me when I don't feel good either! It makes me so uncomfortable and nervous. My hubby and oldest daughter is about it. And sometimes only Hubby can be around me if I'm having a severe gallbladder attack or really really sick.

Good to hear from you, Julie. Yes I agree, if bringing food to someone in your condition, come to the door, deliver the food, express good wishes and go away. Nobody wants company after surgery. Yes, the swelling and bruising usually worst maybe 3 to 5 days after, then improvement. Be good to yourself, you know we love you.
