I caught a finch, could be wild or one of my lost ones.

There is a finch that always comes to mine trying to get in the cage. It's quite friendly whenever i comr outisde as it doesn't bother flying away. I decided to make a trap to see if it was one of mine who escaped or a wild one. How could i tell?

Yeah I had trouble at firs but this is how go to the thing next to the movie looking tape and it looks like a landscape tap it let it load then hit choose file and it will say take picture

Just keep it if it’s happy, zebra finches are native to central Australia

Looks like a Java finch to me. I don't think they are native to Australia although there may be a wild population. @Teila or @JaeG may have better insight.
