wow a coon huh, I had to catch and relocate 5 last summer. I would shoot them but my neighbors would have a heart attack. Good Job!

Way to go!!! I SSS if I can. Now I have an electric fence. 6000 volts. Nothing has tried to get my birds since I put it up. I got a possum trying to dig under it.

It just does my heart good to hear that you dispatched him.

I love animals, mostly because they are delicious, but I've always really disliked racoons.

They are just so destructive, they can ruin a garden, kill your chickens, make messes in barns and attics... Thank goodness you got him... now hang out and get the rest of the family. They're like bunnies and rats, there's never just one.

I have been having a terrible time with skunks. I have killed 13 so far. I checked with my local Game and Wildlife and they told me skunks were ok to shoot in my area, but not so in all places. A friend of my DH told our friend about someone catching skunks and releasing them in our neighborhood. I started shooting them the skunks when I saw one attempting to get into my baby chicks run. I was late going out to put them in their coop.
