Trapped another one last night...and this one was HUGE! Almost twice as big as the other one. Couldn't tell if this one was a male or female...I tried not to look at this one as I dropped it off to my neighbor to "take care of" for me.
I know many people can shoot things - and I don't have a problem with someone shooting a pest that is killing their livestock or damaging property, but I just can't do it myself. I just don't have it in me.
My neighbor (who loves our eggs) will be bringing my trap back tonight so I can set it up again...hopefully he'll rinse it off before he brings it back
We purchased the stuff to put in the electric fencing along the bottom half of the brooder/coop/run where the blood-bath occured. I'm a little overwhelmed - it seems complicated to install. Maybe it won't be so bad once we get started. We spent about $75 on all of it.
I'll keep everyone updated.
I hate raccoons.
