She was my favorite chicken. Like no doubt about it. She had just started laying eggs at nine months old. Cute little cream colored eggs. She was talkative and friendly and beautiful. Then one day tradgedy struck. My grandma came home one day to find a hawk in the coop. All of her hatchmates were up in the coop. Nugget was in the hawks grasp. Her death was fast. Luckily Chipmunk, Sweet Pea, and Boots survived. It hit hard and she laid 4 eggs before the attack. So of course I stuck those 4 eggs in the incubator. Out of 4 3 made it to hatch. One had an internal problem so it passed. I now have 2 beautiful little 2 month old chikadeez.

Aw, that's too bad. I'm glad you have some babies of her's though
