i could REALLY use some advice

i may be totally overreacting but this is my first time with chicks and i dont want anything to go wrong...
my chicks are 17 days old and ive been noticing recently that some of their poop is strange... like not a lot of it but more frequently than i remember it being. i wouldn't call it runny but it almost seems to be the consistency of paint and smells very strongly. i dont know which chick this is coming from or if its all of them on occasion. don't get me wrong about 95% is perfectly normal i guess but just because i'm a newbie at this im a little paranoid. I have pictures if you need it but didn't want to start the thread with pictures of my chicks' poop...
(i do realize that i just started an entire thread about poop

but i'm concerned and i don't want to lose any of my babies!)

Hello and congrats on the chickens! Have you SEEN the poo page? Many, many hours have been devoted to discussing chicken poop, so you're not alone.http://chat.allotment.org.uk/index.php?topic=17568.0 I'm guessing you're seeing more of the ceacal poop- runny, smeary, smells really bad.
