Super bummed as I had one Paint doing great. Today after one day in lockdown, I opened lid for about 15 seconds to let some humididty out as it was 84%. The cord was caught between wall and bator causing lid to tip dumping a metal nut I forgot was on there denting my paint. Is there any chance it will survive?

Oh no!

I've read of people putting wax or tape on cracks? If nobody responds, maybe you could search for a thread explaining how to fix a cracked egg??

I hope you can save your paint chick!

I dropped an egg halfway into incubation and put candlewax (unscented) over the damage. So far the chick has been developing and is entering lockdown tomorrow. I know my situation is kind of different, but candle wax does help. Give it a shot. Better than nothing. Right?
