I Crochet So I Don't Lose Sanity

I made a new baby hat for my Etsy.

I do mostly looms and crochet some.But loom knitting is my passion.As is collecting way to much yarn to add to my stash.
I have a cute hat I am working on with my new light weight loom no need for bulky yarn with this one and using my big round one to make a bath mat.

It's easy to hoard yarn, isn't it? LOL My hubby doesn't get it. Not only does it make it easier on me to have a variety of yarn colors and weights but I get stressed when my yarn stash gets low!!

Tell me about your loom! I have always wanted to try it but don't know enough about it.

well I have about 10 looms most are round and two are strait. I just sent off for two s looms which means I can loom a piece as long as 50 inches.
Like this but the two I'm getting are blue.

I can make just about anything on them and picked it up faster then crocheting.
I can't read knitting/crochet patterns or I would be able to learn faster,how those people make those beautiful things with needles and hooks is beyond me.I just learned the magic circle

I think I just found a new way to work with yarn!! . Thank you for showing me these, you have definitely piqued my curiosity!

As for reading crochet and knitting patterns, I personally think crochet is easier to do and follow patterns. Just start with something SUPER easy, like a square pot holder or something, a pattern that uses the same stitch all throughout. Then step it up a notch in difficulty once you have mastered one stitch. The worst thing you can do is try and start out with a sweater pattern or other clothing items. These are going to be intermediate or difficult levels. And go online and watch YouTube videos. LOTS of very helpful info there.
