I Crochet So I Don't Lose Sanity

That's too funny! I'm seriously thinking about making sweaters for my silkies. They don't really need them, but I think it would be insanely cute.

Once I had someone ask me to make an "undergarment" for her boyfriend. It was an elephant face with a....ummm....trunk. I'm not a prude, but dang! I am not making man panties!

My MIL asked me to crochet her a bikini.... I told my husband and he said "NO" I said "why not?" He said "that's gross!" Haha I didn't make her a bikini because that's so awkward.

I remember making one for my sister. This was back in the 1970s. I did it from a pattern in a pattern book. (they aren't for swimming in, just for sunbaking)

I wouldn't have made man panties either! Especially for someone else's man. Haha

The lady who sent me silkie eggs said her friend makes scarves for her showgirl silkies and naked necks because her friend thinks they look ugly.

I love my Showgirl Silkie and think she is adorable. Fuzz was the only one to hatch.

I'm also more of a winter crocheter. I don't typically make big things because I get bored with doing the same thing over and over. LOL! I do smaller projects like scarves, baby blankets, I made a baby sweater once, dishcloths, potholders, scrubbies, hats. I've never actually made baby booties for some reason, maybe this winter I will try it. LOL!

I am a crochet addict!! I find it quite relaxing and focusing since with some patterns you must really concentrate. It soothes my nerves. LOL I don't crochet as much in the summer, but come fall, it's nonstop through spring!!
