I decorate eggs

I do sell my eggs. Usually at egg shows. Craft shows aren't a good place for mine because of the cost of making them.

I cut them with a dental drill. Just like what your dentist uses on your teeth. It hooks up to a compressor and it goes much faster than a dremel. Allot of people just starting out use a dremel but there is too much wobble in the burrs. The dental drill goes 400,000 RPM. It's so fast there is no vibration. So you can get a very fine cut. You can do filigree with these drills. And they are like holding a pencil in your hand.

This is my attempt at carving and filigree work. I haven't done much of this and the last cut I put my finger right through the top. Waste of an Emu egg!!!!! LOL

this is a goose egg done in filigree and I had better luck with this one.
