Yes, I AM nuts.

I ordered it, appropriately enough, from Smith Poultry Supplies (my last name is Smith). By far the best deal I could find anywhere. I looked for a used one, but the best I could do with a used one was 5 1/2 hours away and only $200 cheaper than new. By the time I drove over there and back, I would've spent the difference in travel costs.

I wonder how long its going to take you to receive it.. I was thinking about one too, but most sites say 2-3 weeks for delivery.. Thats a long time to wait for a new toy..

But getting a Sportsman, thats just Smart! More for your money! All those lovely little chicks. Then the hatchers, and the brooders, and what are you going to do with all the big chickens??

I have two LF Araucana chicks right now...but for some reason Bantam's seem to be the thing. And they are way more available to me. May I ask what draws you to Bantams over LF??
