Ageed, this is what I had in mind also. I have not been as pleased as my first Ideal order. I love them but definitely mutt like as opposed to breed true. I wasn't expecting show quality but a solid black swedish? However Helga is full of German efficiency.

Eaxactly! I did not expect show quality, but at least the birds should resemble roughly the look of the breed. - Don't let Helga anywhere near your tomato plants! She will efficiently uproot them!
