I want to start a small chicken farm. I just graduated Culinary school and I am really starting to get into organic foods. I want to open up my own organic cafe in about five years. But first I need hands on training and would love to learn more about what makes food organic. I want to start with chickens, well their eggs. Now, I cannot afford to buy a home or rent a home with a lot of land. I am wondering is it possible to raise chickens that are not on your land?

im glad you are getting into organic foods, you will find it very rewarding. It is possible, you can rent property, like for some with cattle they pay for so much for acre, and they raise them there. you just have to look for people with land for rent, and ask if you can raise so many chickens on their land for so many years.
