The trap is a havahart trap for small rat sized animals. It works fine if the rat goes in it, but a bump will set it off. Last night they were lined up at the door to come in! That's where they are now as well, it's not quite time yet.
I'm concerned hardware cloth all the way around the run will make it too heavy, I was surprized at the differance the door and wire made. The handle is such that two people can move it though. I'm first going to tackle the coop, I will add some ventilation and put hardware cloth over that as well. Plus adding another door, so it can be locked at night.
