I don’t know anything about ducks- please help

That's good to know. My girl Coco just walks back with us inside the fenced in area. She's very smart. I like Muscovy WAY BETTER than Pekin. My Pekins are messy.

I have many birds, many breeds...pekins and Muscovy are two of my favorites because pekins are silly...and Muscovy are so laid back

2 of mine are really messy and one is a jumbo Pekin named Pickles, she's a sweety. The muscovy is a sweetheart too, she flies out of the fencing and follows us into the fenced area. My husband said yesterday she was flying around the yard and scared my pug Pekins are silly, but they like to dirty the waterers. My muscovy is cleaner like a chicken.

Yes! My muscovy is disgusted with my Pekins She hangs solo now and free ranges the whole yard. She knows how to get back in, but she likes being outside of the fence so I let her. She's my special duck.

Aww have you thought about getting her a Muscovy buddy to hang out with? Although I have 1 Muscovy female that hangs around with the Runners an Buffs a lot. I can’t let my Muscovy fly, river down below and woods all around.

I have woods all around, but she goes into the coop with everyone. I haven't thought about it yet. I was thinking about hatching ducklings in the spring and maybe keeping one so that she'll have a friend.

Adorable muscovies!! I have some, they grow up to be big sweeties and love attention!! Although they don't really like hanging out with breeds that aren't muscovies they're still friendly towards them. I have had muscovies for a bit now and found each has their own personality. Yours are french white like mine, which is what you'll usually get from TSC.

Also I don't think muscovies even lay this time around, It's seasonal laying for them per se. I'd say around spring and summer they'll start laying.

My Muscovy are through laying for this year. and boy am I glad trying to keep up with the broody girls can wear ya out. lol

I can't relate mine love waiting till the warm months, I do live in PA I suspect that might be why, they HATE the cold and frozen water!
