I have woods all around, but she goes into the coop with everyone. I haven't thought about it yet. I was thinking about hatching ducklings in the spring and maybe keeping one so that she'll have a friend.

The ducklings? Raise them to be meat ducks for my family. We are processing our own meat because we want to be less dependent on the grocery store. It's something new to us...

Ok, my husband has eaten four of my drakes that were problems...that’s supposed to be a secret...I have to understand it because this is now a farm, and......we’ll....like now I have 5 cockerels

I have chicks I hated, 21 of them. I'm only keep 2 or 3 the rest are meat chickens. We are a farm too.

We've eaten our extra Roos when we've had a mean one, I am a hobby farm. Now I just control hatching.
