I got these chicks as an Easter gift for my 1 year old daughter. I don't know how old they are, what gender, or what breed! I'm completely new to the backyard chicken thing, but I'm eager to learn all that I can! Mahalo for your help!
I don't have a clue, Please help me identify what breed my two chicks are!

*scratching head* I'll give my best shot.....the one on the right looks maybe EE. The black one, guessing a black breed like Mincorcas, Black Aussies or Black Leghorns.
too early to tell of gender, so you may have to post when they are feathered out. If you see pinker wattles and combs, then you might have a rooster.

Thank you for your quick response! I checked a bunch of pictures of EE chicks and i agree that Chika will be laying me some colorful eggs when she gets older (if she doesn't become a he that is!). Now that I have an idea about what they are I feel like I can better prepare a habitat and a good environment for them! Mahalo again!
Looks like either a Speckled Sussex or a Ameraucana (EE)
