I don't have an incubator, but hope to hatch a couple ducklings.

Its attempting to stand, it's neck is probably fine, seems to extend and hold it up just fine. When the lights are on the other babies jump every where basically. I have the room darkened so they will stay calmer.

I think it's figured it out, I have rarely hatched eggs and incubator hatching is really new for me so this is quite the experience. I hate to leave them in there too much longer but might have to wait till the evening to get them in a brooder, and likely will use a heatlamp or something. I don't have a proper heating pad I just need a smaller cave I will get it figured out just need to breath and make sure I know what to get, I am gonna go to town today I should put together a list of things to get for the ducklings.

If they have a Cayuga father they are Cayuga crosses. Angelina’s would be a Cayuga/pekin. Not sure what your other breeds are. Cayuga can hatch with a white patch that should go away when the feathers come in.

As far as brooding, all you really need is a heat lamp, food, waterer and some sort of container to put them in. Some use kiddie pools, Rubbermaid totes can work well for a small hatch, when I had call ducklings I used a tubtrug (kinda like a solid laundry basket). They don’t need a ton.

I did what I did about 6 years ago with Angelina when she was a duckling we got a tub and brooder her with a headlamp but these ones won't have a headlamp and will have a nice cozy cave.

I grabbed an old storage tub that was empty cleaned it out of dust and dirt with dish soap and distilled white vinegar outside with the hose. Scrubbed with a brush.
I was possibly going to get a new tub but decided against it. Also found a great heating pad at Wal Mart and it's working well! Had to make sure the ducklings knew the cave was cozy last night. After getting in the brooder they got some warm nutri drench water after a little fresh water.
Before putting them in the brooder, I noticed most of them had clear drainage from their nares, from being in the incubator so long? I cleaned the incubator of most of the yuckiness once before going to town yesterday didn't get the ducklings in the brooder till around midnight. (I feel bad they were in that low ventilation environment so long, I was hoping to be quicker I had my brother check on them when I was in town.)

I got them some duckling food and sweet peas for a when they are a bit bigger. Eventually I will give them other greens to just not sure what all is 'safe' I see people give spinach to them and some people say spinach is bad for ducks idk who's 'right' or 'wrong' small amounts are fine I believe?

Any suggestions for greens that are good?

Blue swedish, khaki Campbell, Pekin, and hopefully these 2 weren't the mothers of some of them but even a Cayuga+blue swede and a Cayuga+khaki.

For greens I usually so kale, as we have an abundance in the garden. I use lettuce when we have extra too. This spring I had chickweed in the garden and used that as well.
The brooder set up sounds good. I hope they do well for you!

Thank you!
I was wondering about kale, I am not sure I personally have ever even had any myself. I don't think I have heard of chickweed before.
