I don't have an incubator, but hope to hatch a couple ducklings.

Just after some help new on here. My Muschovy raised a Peking Duckling with no help I would call it an accident but they know how to do it. So I tried again put some Peking Eggs under the Muschovy today I found the egg out of the nest on the ground and shell coming open. I looked something wiggling inside so I took it inside. What do I do now I put it in sugar cane mulch under a desk lamp. Help this is like exciting
That's how most of my ducklings hatched I let the ducks do it.

Good luck with your flock!

Another option would be to find someone who has an incubator and would hatch the egg for you
That sounds like a good idea. Might ask if anyone I know has the ability, thanks!

Also I found a incubator for a decent price, I saw similair on another post and heard the other more expensive one was a decent gator. Would this one be any good?

Trying to encourage a broody.

I had some eggs in the kennel I keep my oldest drake in with Jem, my only living duck to have success hatching eggs, an egg broke somehow.
She is new to the kennel, this was her second night in it, my pekin use to be Chiharu's (my oldest drake) kennel buddy at night.

Jem is acting a little puffy and louder (like a broody almost) but not sure she's feeling like being broody, or if she's just that way.

She has three nest options that could safely work, the kennel, that old water trough, and the coop nest boxes. The last two wouldn't be the greatest but Jem (or any broody) and I could find a way to manage.

Angelina's egg is on the kitchen counter, in an egg carton. I have been putting some water in the carton to help with humidity hopefully but feel like the temps even indoors is to high. It feels like an uphill battle. No where else is really cooler and it would be hard to keep cooler.
The egg is also a little bit dirty but avoiding any cleaning as to not remove the bloom.

Any incubator is better than none of you want to try to hatch this particular egg

Make sure not to get the egg wet.

Hope you can hatch your ducks egg! My buff Orpington died and I was heartbroken but then a chick hatched from my other buff Orpington and she looked so much like her ❤️
Awe, that's beautiful! And thank you! I really hope so too, this is my last chance to have a duckling of hers.
I also will miss the presence of pekins I have always had one since we got the first 2 pekins about 8 years ago.
