I don't know if it's the heat or something else

I got home from work, and my boyfriend had just let the chickens out of their run to roam the yard. They are in their coop/run during the day, and out in the yard when we're home, as they like to wander into the street.

He said one of the girls was acting funny... that she was kind of drooping on one side. I never saw it. She was erect and walking fine the rest of the evening, but slower than usual. Almost lethargic. She wasn't interested in a treat. She didn't forage anything.

When I went to pick her up, she barely put up a fight (she NEVER lets us hold her). She had liquid poop, and then vomited up the same color, but when I got her in the house I realized her crop was full of water, which I may have slightly squeezed picking her up causing the vomit.

None of the other birds are acting funny. We tried giving her some yogurt and pedialyte, but she refused. She's currently in the house in the a/c.. it's been so hot and humid lately.

No wheezing. I checked her for lice/mites... she looks fine. I'm at a loss.

Update:

This morning, she is more responsive, ate a little yogurt and banana, and some drank some pedialyte. She seems to be pooping, but it's not as solid as normal.

I am keeping her in the house today in case it was from the heat, and am going to give the other girls some electrolytes and some sunflower seeds in a tub of ice water.

They're 14ish weeks old, so no laying yet.

Can you post a pic of her pop? How does her breath smell?

I would continue offering the electrolyte water and a spoonful of yogurt daily. It does sound like she may have sour crop, but I would check the crop throughout the day, and first thing in the morning to see if it is emptying. They can have a slow puffy crop with other illnesses, such as coccidiosis, but if her beak smells sour or rotten, I would treat for sour crop. Here is an article about sour crop:

She seems to have a lot more energy tonight, but it doesn't look like she ate anything. Her crop was empty this morning, and right now, it's a little squishy.

No sour smell coming from her beak/mouth. No bloody poop.

Try offering some cooked egg, since even very sick chickens like that. I would feed her only mushy foods, no whole grains or seeds. Nystatin or Medistatin can be given for sour crop. Some also use antifungal drugs Monistat 7 or miconazole cream orally twice a day for sour crop.

There are a couple of specks of reddish or pink in the dropping picture. I might consider treating her for coccidiosis, in case that is blood, but there is plenty of mucus in that dropping. Symptoms of coccidiosis are lethargic, puffing up or hunching, no appetite, weakness, and runny poops with mucus or blood. Corid is not harmful to use if she does not have coccidiosis, but coccidiosis is common in younger birds. Now that I blow up the picture, I see the redness. Yesterday it was mucous-like, watery, then just seemed like a bit of diarrhea this morning. I asked my boyfriend to pick up some amprolium from TSC on his way home. Thanks!
