I don't know if my chick is alive or not?

Humidity is at 61% and 99.5 degrees. This one pips every minute.View attachment 2522623
Can you up the humidity to 75%? It should be that high during hatch so the babies can stay moist enough.
And this one makes no sound. Sorry lighting is bad
Ok. Are they still alive though? Wait at least 24 hours with no progress before doing anything. I've had some chicks take a very long time, 40+ hours, and still hatch perfectly fine on their own. Read the article in my signature too.
if it has been less than 24 hrs since pipping, no, don't open it at all while you have pips. Let it have rest periods between attempts! You must keep humidity up, and be ready to assist - with air sac end only and eggshell only - and have something ready to moisten the membrane. Did you read the Assist Articles already?
Why the wow reaction? Lol.

do you mean by _pips every minute_ it tries to make the Pip air hole hole bigger? how long has this hole been open? give it 24 hours - it may suddenly zip in 4 hrs or less - with almost no peeps at all. If you open the machine it could get shrink-wrapped. That's why i wowed the other persons suggestion to candle. Not during a normal pip period.

yeah it is day 22 and has been over 4 ours but I can't find the head the spot that is open is like the back
4 hrs for which egg, which process? 24 hrs for PIP (smaller hole - your red ink egg) and min 4 hrs for a distressed zip - your zip pic looks pretty good. I'd go to bed, read more on what happens inside the egg during the pip and zip phases, and then learn more about assisting safely. In the morning, i bet you have 2 out, drying off and new pips to watch til the next morning when all are dry and no pips to endanger by opening it.
