I don't know if my chicken is gone or what

Sometimes my hens will just decide to curl up or roast in random places for no reason. You might want to check in brooks or crevices around your area. Again it’s not uncommon for a predator to come and get her although they usually attack during night. Do you close them in every night and if so did you do it later than usual?

This recent thread got created, someone’s leghorn went broody and hatched some chicks. Maybe 2020 is the year for broody leghorns

****Update ******** Update ***************
Found my girl leghorn I call clairabell (clair for short) . She was coming out from underneath the new building / roosting house I'm trying to get them a custom to.

( I know I was just excited as anyone her to know my sweet girl was still alive)

Now the odd part is she is been gone all day somewhere because I haven't seen her with the others all day .

SIDE NOTE:
I LOOKED UNDER EVERY BUILDING AND EVEN THE ONE SHE CAME OUT FROM THIS AFTERNOON WHEN I LET THE REST OUT OF THE ROOST HOUSE . DIDNT SEE HER NO WHERE LAST NIGHT AT ALL .

Something is going on and it sure seems odd ?? Can anyone here relate?

Apparently she isn't supper hungry or thirsty because I haven't witnessed her do either activity today .

So glad she showed up! My guess is she has a secret nest somewhere. Once you figured out where it is, she abandoned it and set up another one. You might just leave her alone and see what happens. She may show up in about three weeks with a bunch of little ones she hatched out by herself!

Yeah I think I will probably leave her alone but I never did actually find her or it . She just happen to show up from under the building they all roost in and I was letting the others out i herd her and then here she came from Under the building . So after that she went off with the other and then disappeared again shortly after leaving .
