I only have 3 Rhode Islands but they have in an odd way changed my life. They are incredibly spoiled even to the point where I now play classical music for them to settle them down around laying time. It really works they quiet down almost instantly. I am thinking that maybe they want more girls in the flock to stay entertained?

Anyway and excited about joining this site and learning more.
