ok I have 3 eggs in the incubator right now. 1 white, and 2 brown (1 kinda dark brown).

I just candeled and...

in the white egg I saw veining, and it was dark, but no movement. When I turned it a little, I saw the real dark spot, but it kinda went down to the bottom slowly.

In the brown lighter brown egg, same thing but darker spot stayed kinda at the top.

In the darkest brown egg, can't tell. Realy have never been able to tell, but it is not clear.

None are clear for that matter, I can see the air cell well, and the darker center. Do they sleep in the eggs? Or do you think they quit. I am on day 10 and I don't know what to do!! I hope they are ok. HELP!!!

Go fishing for 8 days. Come home and take the turner out. Go fishing for 3 more days and come home to your fuzzy butts. They are O K.

Hello!

At day 10, there's not much to see except veining.....I would follow Panner's advice. Wait another 5 days and candle again. I'll bet you'll see a difference.

Good luck to you!

I never really candle my eggs until like 14 days.I have found the more ya mess with them you lose humidity in the inc.I Have never had a really bad explosion of a rotten egg cept a turkey egg from some egg's I bought off Ebay a couple years ago.I know curiosity kills the cat and ya cant help but looking. The best egg candling light I ever found especialy for darker eggs was a little small LED flashlight I had a small one like 4 inches or so long.If you can see viens and a dark spot leave the eggs a few more days before checking again.Chicken's develop pretty quickly after about `10-12 day's. Good luck with your egg's

Oh I don't know ! Since i have been incubating the last two months I have really turned nutsy and I like the idea of "going fishin" sounds like a good remedy to me and I wish I could not worry so much !
