I don't own the ducks, they own me.

Years back we had mallards that would stop by for a couple weeks in spring, they came back the next year  also.  Pretty sure it was the same hen because she would walk on the outdoor sill of our picture window . Several times a day you would see her checking on us.  First time she had two drakes with her, second time only one.  They knew to come to the side door and get something to eat and a clean bowl of water. They laid all over the front lawn and our neighbor came over to ask where we bought the lawn ornaments.
hahaha. Living breathing lawn ornaments. Love it.

Welcome Duck Lady! I love ducks, most animals actually! We don't have any ducks currently but when we lived in Olympia I used to put out bird food near my art studio for the larger birds and two ducks regularly came over to our cul-de-sac and fed. It was interesting how the drake would sit there while the hen or female ate and kind of kept watch for her. Again welcome!

I love observing that with wild fowl; the eater and the watcher. Sweet marriages with these ducks and geese, too.

They're doing well. They've been regularly stopping by with three other males showing up once in a while. Selene (the only female) will see our car pull into the driveway and land in our yard. These crazy ducks!
