I dont see any coops built out of corrigated metal???

The rest I used to line the bottom of compost bins to keep tree roots out. It's SOOO much easier to work the compost now.

Kat's Silly Chickens :

The horse barn we built our coop into is made out of corrigated galvanized metal, we just put 3/4" Styrofoam insulation on the inside walls and wood panels over it. We have 1 wall panel that we take off in the summer to allow for extra air movement inside. It has chicken wire on the backside. You can see the early stage of our coop on my page.
Use it, better to recycle than have added expense.

You know what if you don't build it I will I think it would look neat and heck it would look even better in John Deere colors!

Ohya so I don't see why it wouldn't work I think it would be a lot better than the bill you would get for the supplies needed.

The larger pole barns being built up here (Central NY) are generally wood frame with metal siding and roofing. With proper venting they are used for livestock all the time. In fact there is a large Turkey farm a few miles from my house, uses long metal houses for the turkeys. I would definately look at ventilation and insulation, but there is no reason this shouldn't work! Please post pics as you work on this!
