I don't see how this kind of waterer is fit for ducks

It certainly can't be deep enough for them to flush out their nostrils--unless you get a humungous one, perhaps.

But maybe I'm wrong.

Winter cometh, and I'd really like to use a heated one--but want to make sure it'll work for ducks.

Anyone???

I use a flat backed horse bucket to water my ducks. They have a handle that allows me to clip the bucket to the fencing with a carabiner type clip. These buckets are also available in heated versions. My ducks make an absolute mess out of their waterers so I empty and flush them out twice a day.

I use the heated dog water bowls works great they can make a fine mess
