I don't think my RIR chicks are RIR...*pics*

Hi Red,
I have the same thing going on - maybe they are comets? I picked mine up at the feed store. So they may have mixed up their RIR's and comets. I do have a BO as well, and I can see a difference between the 2. Mabye we have a certain strain of RIR? Can only hope - I really did want RIR's. I'll take some pics later today of my kids and post.

I agree that these are sex links. They look like Golden Comets to me, not as red as a red star, or could be Cinnamon Queen, but most likely comets. You'll love them. They are great layers.

Yeah, i'm addicted to these little chicks...I could sit and watch them all day, have to tear myself away. They've started using me as a human climbing frame too, and one loves to fall asleep on my shoulder...they're such sweet little babies. I can see why people can't help but get more

Here are my girls. The first photo is a BO on the left, "RIR" in the rt. The 2nd pic is of the 2 "RIR's". The girl on the rt does have some red coming in, but the still look nothing like the other RIR photos. Guess I have comets? And yes, Ariel was helping me with the photo shoot.

Chickensista, there not RIR, they are red sexlinks.

Those look like Sex Links or Stars. RIRs are not that light. The wing color pattern is darker and different on the RIR too.
