I dreamed alligators....

The new med dose is getting the blame for me doing absolutely nothing in the house today.
It's easier than telling my DH that the reason it's not getting done is that I am simply exhausted from having one or the other of his DDs here non-stop for the past two weeks.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Dream Interpretation Dictionary

"Alligator

To see an alligator in your dream, symbolizes treachery, deceit, and hidden instincts. It may be a signal for you to take a new perspective on a situation. It may also represent your ability to move between the material world of waking life and the emotional, repressed world of the unconscious. Alternatively, the alligator represents healing powers and qualities. An alligator also suggests that you are thick-skinned or insensitive.

To dream that you are running away from the alligator, indicates that you are unwilling to confront some painful and disturbing aspect of your unconscious. There is some potentially destructive emotion that you are refusing to acknowledge and owning up to.

According to biblical interpretations, an alligator suggests that leviathan is king over the children of pride. (Psa 74:14, Job 41:1,Isa 27:1)"

HUmmm.
I had fearful dreams of alligators eating our dogs for a LONG time. One night I dreamt that our loopiest dog ever was nose to nose with the biggest gator EVER... and I couldn't call the dog- or the gator would attack once the dog turned.. so I was standing there terrified.. until I remembered that the dog had been dead for five years. Then both animals turned and looked at me, and walked away from each other. I haven't had an alligator dream since.
I think I was too sensitive. always worried about my gator hunting dog. He had a fight with a small gator once. He didn't lose, but that was an expensive dog.
But a new persective on the situation cured the gator dreams!
Thank you for the dream deffinition. That is neat.
