We have a hatch! This is a Barred rock X Polish. Is it okay that the humidity jumped to 76%? I definitely don't want it that high due to my staggered eggs but I have 10 other current pips!!!

Yay!!! I hatch out at 75% and it shoots even higher once they start hatching. Of course, I never do staggered hatches. Congrats on the new baby!

Some of my babies. Most are polish barred rock crosses but I have a cute bantam Cochin x polish pictured separately and one of my brown and polish cross chicks is also pictured separetly. I can't wait to see what they look like full grown! The polish roo was a blue/silver guy.

An update- as of now, I'm up to 19 hatched babies with two in the incubator rocking like crazy- I have 10 eggs in the incubator left all together. I had to throw out 5 eggs as they stopped developing. Let's see how the rest of this week goes!

great hatch with a farm innovators incubator I have 2,& I hate them both ! The tops don't fit tight on the bottoms & a lot of air gets in or out at the seam .Temp. spikes are a big problem .Next hatch take a flashlight in a dark room shine it at the seam pointed up a little & check it. You'll see it if it doesn't fit right. most likely the temp. spikes took out your 5 eggs. if my chicken math is correct you've already done better than I have been able to do with mine. Give yourself a pat on the back you deserve it.
