I fell in love with a turkey.

I knew of another BBB tom who survived bad legs and a couple of heart attacks and actually lived to be 4 or 5 years old. His owners had a portable air conditioner mounted on blocks in their garage, and he would sit in front of the AC on hot humid NJ summer days - lucky bird.
Really? I’m so using this. Do you think the ac is the reason for survival?

They’re like, in between a chicken and a dog. THEY’RE THE BEST! (MINUS THE FACT THAT MY TOM AND I ARE SIMILAR IN SIZE. like...we’d fight in the same weight class, and he would destroy me  TKO!) no jk. he once tried to FIGHT MY BROTHER’S PITBULL! ZERO FEAR! To protect his lady! Thank goodness the fence separated them. He follows me everywhere. The female is shy though. They ABSOLUTELY STOOLLEEE MY HEART! I hope you get to adopt your sweet little sweetie :love
i started volunteering at a bird sanctuary a while ago, and i fell in love with a turkey. it is THE SWEETEST THING. i never knew turkeys could be this friendly. i hope that i might be able to adopt it sometime. it is just so nice. it will walk up to you, and snuggle against you, and it will let you pet it. i have never thought of turkeys as really friendly, but this adorable turkey has stolen my heart. :p
