She hatched around June, I think. I hatched so many chickens last year that I can't keep all my details straight. I bought the eggs from someone who had several breeds I'd wanted and she was the only one of the Polish to hatch. I was so happy she was a hen! She just started laying. I think I posted this pic before - she's with my frizzled EE.
Do you think she sees well enough to be able to free range? Considering adding polish to my order.
I don't free range mine, but she sees surprisingly well! She was sitting in the nest the other day and I reached in to grab eggs and she pecked me - direct hit every time I reached in. For a bird that's not supposed to see well, she was surprisingly accurate!
Gritsar's getting Silkies!
You better give them eggs when they go broody on you 5 times a year!

Oh you hush Missy! Just where do suggest I put all the chicks that my maybe-gonna-have silkies are going to hatch?
Come to think of it, I could let them hatch some of their own eggs after they've been fertilized by my gi-normous dark brahma roo. Can you imagine what those chicks would look like??? Talk about your freaky!
