I finished my first coop

    Well I was able to pretty much use all scrap. The only thing I had to shell out for was the green roofing. You can see 2 of the chicks in there. What do you think?[​IMG]

    Well, the story is my wife saw them at the store and "THEY WERE SO CUTE"....long story short... I like being self reliant, etc- so I went with it. Got some wood from my Dad, started cutting the wood and this is what it turned into. Those 2 are bantams. I also have a RIR, barred rock, golden sex link and wyandotte. I just bought one of each at the co-op... this is my first go with chickens. We shall see what happens. I'm already thinking I may need to extend the run a bit after doing some more reading on space on the site. Or I guess I can just let them out to hang once day or so.
