Sharon, You sent me an email about Button eggs, didn't you. I could read but not answer any emails, then they all vanished --- poof! From what I read in later posts, you have everything under control. I hope you have a great hatch.
Nice to meet you too, Chris. Lol, I adore goats but my fencing isn't adequate. Cupid and Archer are bottle-raised LaMancha bucklings --- kind of 'practice and headed for the freezer goats'. They certainly showed me how lacking my fences are.
Hmmm, that last paragraph was gibberish to me?lol....just dont know anything about them.Id like to get one someday but my babys might have probs with a goat?Any opinions?
Welcome back! Just wanted to let you know the daylilies you sent are growing great. And thank you for the extras! I expect them to bloom in a a few weeks, a little late but that's a Maine garden. I will definitely take pictures of the "surprise" blooms so you can see how they turn out.
Oh, and I hear you on the goat issues. The first goats I ever had tore my fence to pieces .

Chel, you are so right. If my computer was such that I couldn't get on... I'd probably be at Fry's electronics buying a new PC regardless of the cost.
I thought it would be a panic-situation if the computer went out --- I found I can live without it (and I didn't go into withdrawl mode) --- I spent more time WITH the chickens.
Happy-er birds and a happy-er me
I can keep some 300+-birds 'situated'', but have trouble keeping my home in order.
Machines that don't work right still make me buggy.
I hear you on the goats tearing up the fencing thing, Lisa!! Only for us it's our daughter's show steers and heifer!!! They are such a nuisance, we can't keep the fence up for even one day!!! The hotwire doesn't even help - they just moose it out of the way and stand with it resting on their backs. I think they like the shock!!!
Luckily, they can't get to the chicken coops, or they'd have those torn up, too!!!
Gosh I just love the country life!!!
Just kidding, actually I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Lisa...Glad your back online....Just wanted to tell you the daylilies I got from you last year are all blooming this summer and are beautiful...let us know when you have more to divide....
