I forgot how to tell if an egg is fertile or not by candling it before putting it in the incubator?

Yeah i had to put mine in the incubator for 2 days and then see

You can wait 2 days. Or you can do the usual, & wait until day 7.

the thing for me is that i only have 5 that were shipped and not cracked...the rest fo the 6 were cracked and tossed out

Next time, if not bad cracks (like yolk exposed) pop some wax on the cracks to seal in moisture and then place in bator.

That is what I did with some call eggs and they are developing nicely.

They were very badly damaged... most of the egg whites had leaked
