Hello Everyone!
Long story short, I forgot to add the filter into my incubator before the chicks started hatching.
You are meant to add it 3 days before hatchday (before the lockdown starts).
I'm using the Rcom 10 Pro Plus (a fabulous incubator!).
I remembered when I incubated my Quail eggs but this time when incubating chicks I've been away over the weekend and forgot to ask a family member to do it.
This weekend has just been the worst after we had a car accident involving a deer
The last thing I need now is for my incubator to jam up and break.
Anyways, one chick has hatched and the rest are just about pipping, of not already.
I'm not wanting to open the incubator and risk my chicks, but I don't want the fan to clog up...
What would you guys suggest?
Will it be alright and just require more after cleaning?
Or should I quickly open it and pop it in?
Thanks!
