Man you were lucky- Just think you could have pitch that five bucks out to feed!!! I always hear of people finding $ in second hand clothes and things, but you have won for the most unexpected.

A good bale of hay around here is at least 6.50 if you have connections, 8.50 if you don't! Last thing I found in a bale of hay was a cell phone. The guy hadn't had the service disconnected either!

I love this post!!! How great to have an unexpected surprise like that!! No body was harmed or compromised in order for you to gain and you have been so contagiously excited over it that who ever did lose it would hide some more in hay bales on purpose just to share in your joy!! Made my day yesterday, I love it!!!

Depending on when you buy it, who you get it from, and if you are willing to stack your own bales, it's about $3-4 a bale. We had a good growing season last year, though. The summer before that things were pretty dry and it was running a good $5.00 or so.

$17 dollars a Bale!!! How do afford that? Geez at that price I would hope you are finding diamonds, or gold nuggets in them. Theres is no way I would pay that much for a bale of hay.
