I found some fledglings

Hey! I found some fledglings in my yard, they’re already full of feathers and are wanting to fly. I wouldn’t have touched them but there’s one problem. There are a lot of feral cats outside that are eager for an afternoon snack. I don’t want them to get eaten but I want them to learn to fly. I currently have them in my room on some hay. And for anyone wondering I’m pretty sure they’re mocking birds, which are the state bird here! (Wild life rescue wont take them)

Try giving them some insects such as meal worms, crickets, etc. If you don't have insects, try some softened dry dog or cat food. Good luck!

It was just them, I was surprised they weren’t a snack yet.

I currently have them in my large chicken coop to see if they’ll fly, they’re just sitting there.
