I am bad about not throwing stuff out in general, but it seems it worked out for the good this time.
I discovered two partial boxes of night crawler fishing worms when i was cleaning out the fridge apparently from early fall (last time i went fishing).
What's interesting is all the worms were still alive and really fat and boy did my chickens gobble those things up!
I had no idea worms could survive that long in a little Styrofoam box.

Hey, cleaning out the fridge is like taking a bath. I do it twice a year, whether I need it or not.

Hmm, are you my daughter in law? Actually I think worms reproduce in her refrigerator.

I've raised mealworms in a large bag in the fridge- funny how people reacted.......

As long as your son is happy, then it shouldn't be a problem...I married a girl like that too.

ETA: Glad your chickens liked'em!

So did my husband, lol! I am organized like crazy, but it's a very messy organized.

spotlikeschicks, I hope you kept some of those worms to start your own worm farm!
