Thank you for the update, and I'm so sorry one didn't make it.
Chim-chim should be very happy now, there is nothing like a mother hen to cheer up a chick, so I think you did the right thing.

This will going to be my first time raising a chicken and i am trying my best to learn what are the right and proper ways to raise them. I put them in my shoe box and bought feeds. They keep crying but whenever i hold them, they'll stop immediately. I honestly don't know what to do coz I got to go to school so I won't be able to hold them everyday. One chick is already eating but the other one still don't and just keep crying. They're so tiny and thought that they still need their momma to keep them warm and all. But I don't know what else to do coz i saw them on top of my dog's cage, crying and all. So I picked them up coz I can't see their mom and other siblings plus my dog's keep barking and trying to get them. As of now, they're already sleeping. I also got them a bulb that will keep them warm. Suggestions and advise are highly appreciated, Thank you so much.

Chicks do that because they think their your mom. Don’t expect them to stop anytime soon because they wont. There isn’t really much else to say.

Hey guys! I just wanted to say thank you to you all, for helping me raise my chicken through your advise/suggestions. Chim-chim survived y'all!! I am so happyyy, and they said she's a girl so they gave me a male chicken for future purposes haha. I will post the latest picture of them tomorrow morning.
