I gave in and started eggs today! Anyone else due around the 13??

I think mine are due to hatch on Aug 8 and 10. I put in a few more eggs 48 hous after the first ones. I am sure this is gonna mess up everything. I hope I can find another bator before hatch time, so I can move them over. I am looking for a used one.

I am getting anxious to candle them.... I think I can do that on Sunday (day 7).

I am thinking of peeking today .... No, I better not!

I can understand how you are anxious. Its only been what 24hrs and Im sick of waiting I want to see whats going on. The first person who makes a bator that hooks up to a TV so you can watch it whenever will make mega $$$$ lol

i put 19 eggs in on the 24th...but its not my first time...
the chicks will be bantam cochin frizzle mix...

I just put 6 silver phoenix eggs in my homemade night table incubator in the spare room at 8 AM EST

My hen has just started producing eggs and settling in at 1 a day.

This hen is a good egg producer giving me 6 eggs in 6 days ,
I have a few chicks already from her but incubated in an old still air ..

This will be the first time using this homemade bator

and I made a hatching bator from a turkey book that I had,, For the last piping dayes .

I just plugged in the bator! This will be my 4th hatch. Probably my last for the year

I have a dozen Polish Frizzle's coming from beargretchen, 1 dozen silkies from ebay,& 4 hopfully 5 this afternoon, from a Cochin hen I bought last week. Good Luck every body!
