I gave in and started eggs today! Anyone else due around the 13??

I have alot of young birds so I am Ok on staring at the bator .

But when there's only eggs I have that habit of checking the bator constantly..

I put another egg in the bator for luck 7 eggs total

I like this hen 7 eggs in 7 days . and she layes them in the after noon.

forced air nighttable incubator ..
the temps at 99.9 and the humdity ? its raining out every day and the meter is in the hatching bator

the temp varies from 99.8 to 99.9..I hate thermometers.I have to spend the big money on a good one .

I am going to candle them after 7 days

have fun staring at those eggs .

well i took 18 of those 19 eggs that i just put in the bator and had to move em under a broody hen.....less work for me....
the 19th egg is still in the bator it has a crack so ill see how it does...

My Silkies are due on the 13th too. Ive heard of a 'Baby Boom' - this is a 'Chicken Boom' - and so many first timers like me, i dont feel alone.

I agree it is a Chicken Boom! As far as my temp its a steady 99.4 and the humdity is holding 44-45%. I so love this bator Im sure I would have messed it up by now if it didnt do it on its own lol

I have 39 of 49 eggs starting to vein!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this!! I'm so excited!!!

Almost all of my silkies are fertile and developing!! Wow!! I'm gonna wait till day 7 to say for sure on the others.The 39 were deffinite spider veins going on! My temp is at 99-100 and humidity 48%

I started 21 eggs yesterday. They should hatch on the 21st if my math is right. It is our first time in an incubator. I built the thing last week, and dialed it in this weekend. We are hanging out between 99-100. I plan to add 4 quail eggs tomorrow, so they "should" all hatch out the same day.

I have 7 black copper maran eggs in my new brinsea mini advance that are due to hatch on Aug 13.

It is my first hatch also.
