I gave the Chickens the Antidote

So I gave the Chickens some Wazine 17 in their water because we know the chickens haven't been wormed yet and went out to lock up the coop for the night and saw a the largest poo I have ever seen so got a little closer because I wanted to look for worms because I knew I gave them the Wazine.....Yep and sure enough there was a worm in it....But then my chicken that always just has to see what I'm up to...Came up and ate the worm that I saw in it.....I think the worms die once they have exposure to air but can my hen reingest the already dead worm and get the worms again?????

That is gross! lol I think they do, but lets hope someone with more knowledge will answer you. I never had worms with the chickens so I don't know.
